In 1995 Elizabeth Kumor, inspired by her lifelong love of beautiful textiles, opened her cozy studio called Repose where she has been developing and sharing her passion for fabric and design with her clients ever since. Her extensive international travel to both the East and the West, and love of nature, color, art and architecture all inform her design. Add a stint as a product developer and project manager at a Fortune 100 company, and it all makes Elizabeth uniquely suited for creating beautiful interiors.
It’s her strong color sense, eye for proportion, attention to detail and easy manner that has made Elizabeth a favorite with her clients. An approachable and sophisticated style, imbued with texture, bold use of color and a touch of the unexpected, is apparent in each home she’s designed.
Elizabeth’s success is built on her ability to listen to her clients, hone in on their desires, and develop a plan for how she can create their vision. Each project presents an exciting opportunity to share her enthusiasm for design. “I am so inspired by my clients”, she says, “It’s a collaborative process and each home is a unique reflection of their tastes and needs.
